Game description:

Adian no Tsue (also known as Staff of Adian) is a unique educational action-adventure game released by Sunsoft in 1986 for the Famicom Disk System (playable here as an NES title). Blending top-down exploration with learning, it stands out as the first entry in Sunsoft’s “Intelligent Game” series.

How to Play

The game plays much like a traditional top-down adventure where you control a knight navigating rooms filled with monsters. However, to progress through doors and advance your quest, you must solve arithmetic problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Use the D-pad (mapped to arrow keys) to move your character, and the A and B buttons (Z and X keys) to attack and select answers. Press Start (Enter) to pause.
