Game description:

2020 Super Baseball is a futuristic sports game released for the SNES in 1993. Originally an arcade title, it reimagines traditional baseball with cybernetically enhanced human and robot teams competing in the Cyber Egg Stadium. The game introduces distinct rule changes to the sport: foul zones are limited strictly to the area directly behind home plate, and the field is equipped with unique jump and stop zones that dynamically affect the ball’s movement.

How to Play
The objective is to outscore the opposing team across nine innings while managing your team’s budget. Standard SNES controls apply: use the arrow keys (D-pad) to move fielders and aim pitches. The main action buttons are mapped to Z, X, A, and S on your keyboard, which handle swinging, pitching, throwing, and base running. Press Enter to start the game. As you play, you earn prize money for successful actions like strikeouts and home runs, which can be spent to power up your team.

Tips
â€ĸ Watch out for the landmines scattered in the outfield; stepping on them will damage your fielders and temporarily disrupt their abilities.
â€ĸ Invest your earnings wisely during the match to repair robotic players who lose energy, or to upgrade your star batters and pitchers.
â€ĸ Because the foul lines only exist directly behind the batter, balls hit into the side netting will bounce back into the field of play, so always be ready to field them off the wall.
