Developed by Hudson Soft and released in 1993, Super Bomberman brought the definitive grid-based action experience to the SNES. As the first title in the 16-bit series, it challenges players to navigate maze-like arenas, drop explosives, and detonate their way to victory against increasingly tough enemies.
How to play
Your objective is to clear the arena of enemies to open the exit, all while avoiding your own explosions. Blow up soft blocks to uncover power-ups that increase your blast radius, give you more bombs, or increase your speed.

Tips
- Always leave yourself a clear escape route before placing a bomb; getting trapped by your own explosive is a common rookie mistake.
- Trap enemies by placing bombs at intersections, forcing them into corners where they cannot escape the blast.
- Prioritize collecting firepower and bomb count power-ups early in a stage to make clearing blocks and enemies much easier.
