Game description:

Famimaga Disk Vol. 3 – All 1 is a unique puzzle game released for the Famicom Disk System in 1991 by Tokuma Shoten. The objective is simple in concept but challenging in execution: you control a ladybug tasked with rolling dice around a grid until every single die has its “1” face pointing upward. It takes the block-pushing logic of games like Sokoban and adds a spatial reasoning twist, as you must carefully track how each die’s face will land after every roll.

How to Play

Move the ladybug against a die to push and roll it into an adjacent space. Your goal is to leave every die on the board with the “1” facing up. To help you plan your moves, a first-person window from the ladybug’s perspective shows the visible sides of the dice. Because space is limited and rolling a die in the wrong direction can ruin your setup, every push must be calculated.

Controls:

  • Arrow Keys: Move the ladybug and push dice
  • Z / X: A / B buttons (used for menus or level restarts)
  • Enter / Shift: Start / Select

Tips

  • Use the first-person view: The small window showing the ladybug’s perspective is essential for checking the hidden faces of the dice before you commit to a roll.
  • Work backward: Instead of randomly rolling dice, visualize the path a die must take to land on “1” and position yourself to make exactly those pushes.
  • Restart early: Like many tile puzzles, a single wrong move can make the stage impossible to clear. If you get stuck, it is usually faster to restart the level than to try undoing your mistakes.
