Game description:

Developed by Shaba Games and released in 2001, Razor Freestyle Scooter brings the turn-of-the-millennium scooter craze to the Nintendo 64. This extreme sports title challenges players to pull off massive air, grinds, and tailwhips across a variety of urban environments and skateparks. Taking clear inspiration from the era’s definitive skateboarding games, you’ll string together trick combos while attempting to rescue your friends from a giant evil robot.

How to Play

The objective is to complete various level goals before the timer runs out, such as collecting specific items, achieving high scores, or finding hidden tokens. Use the N64 analog stick to steer, press A to jump, and combine directional inputs with the B and C-buttons to perform grabs and flips. Pressing the R trigger while approaching a rail or edge allows you to grind.

Tips

  • Link your aerial tricks with manuals (pressing up then down on the stick before landing) to keep your combo chain alive and multiply your score.
  • Explore each level thoroughly; many required collectibles are tucked away in secret areas or high-up locations that require chaining jumps off ramps to reach.
