Game description:

Developed by Konami and released in 1999, this Nintendo 64 installment of the NBA in the Zone series brings authentic 5-on-5 basketball action to the console. Featuring official NBA branding, real team rosters from the 1998-1999 season, and full 3D graphics, it offers a faithful recreation of late-90s professional basketball.

How to Play

The objective is to outscore the opposing team over four quarters of basketball. In the browser emulator, the Nintendo 64’s analog stick is typically mapped to the arrow keys for player movement. Use the Z and X keys as your primary action buttons (A and B) to pass, shoot, steal, and block. The Enter key functions as the Start button to pause the match, while the C-buttons and shoulder bumpers are usually mapped to surrounding keyboard keys.

Tips

Mastering the timing of your jumps is essential for both securing rebounds on defense and blocking the opponent’s shots. Additionally, look for open passing lanes to set up high-percentage shots closer to the basket rather than forcing heavily contested three-pointers.
