Eggerland – Meikyuu no Fukkatsu is a classic puzzle-action game developed by HAL Laboratory for the NES in 1988. As the fourth entry in the Eggerland series (and the second on the Famicom), this Japan-exclusive title stars the blue hero Lolo. Unlike the linear room-by-room progression in the later Adventures of Lolo games, this entry features a massive, interconnected labyrinth where you must gather keys, map pieces, and raft items to explore deeper into the dungeon.
How to Play
Your goal in each room is to collect all the Heart Framers, which unlocks the jewel chest and opens the doors to the next area. Play using the browser emulator with the Arrow keys for movement (D-pad), Z and X to use magic shots (A/B), and Enter/Shift for Start/Select.
Tips
- Watch Medusa’s Gaze: Medusas will instantly shoot you if you cross their line of sight. Push Emerald Framers or trap enemies like Snakeys in their path to block their view safely.
- Manage Magic Shots: Collecting certain Heart Framers grants you magic shots. Use them to turn enemies into eggs, which can then be pushed to block threats or swept away to remove them from the board entirely.
- Map Your Route: Because the labyrinth is non-linear, you can easily wander into rooms that are too difficult or lack the key you need. Backtrack if you get stuck and explore a different path.
