How to play
In side-scrolling areas, use the D-pad (mapped to arrow keys) to move, jump, and dodge, while pressing A and B (Z and X) to unleash basic attacks against standard enemies. When you encounter a boss, the game shifts to a turn-based combat system where you must manage your “Cosmos”. During these duels, you allocate your Cosmos energy between attack and defense points for each turn to survive and defeat the Gold Saints.
Tips for success
- Balance your Cosmos: In turn-based battles, never put all your energy into attacks. You must allocate enough to your defense, or a single strike from a Gold Saint will easily defeat you.
- Farm before bosses: Spend time defeating regular enemies in the side-scrolling sections to build up your Cosmos reserves before triggering a major fight. You will need every drop of energy for the duels.
