Game description:

4 Nin Uchi Mahjong (Japan) is a classic four-player riichi mahjong simulator released for the NES in 1984. Bringing the traditional Japanese tabletop game to the 8-bit console, this early release allows players to build hands and compete against computer opponents using standard rules.

How to Play

Your objective is to build a winning hand of 14 tiles by drawing and discarding tiles each turn, forming sets of three and a pair. The browser-based emulator uses the following default NES controls:

  • D-pad (Arrow Keys): Move the selection cursor
  • A Button (Z): Select, confirm, or discard a tile
  • B Button (X): Cancel a selection
  • Start (Enter): Start the game or pause
  • Select (Shift): Choose game options
