Super Strike Eagle is a combat flight simulator released for the SNES in 1993 by MicroProse. As a console-exclusive spin-off of the popular F-15 Strike Eagle series, the game puts players in the cockpit of a fighter jet, combining fast-paced aerial dogfighting with tactical bombing missions across various global campaigns.
How to play
Your objective is to complete military campaigns by destroying enemy ground targets and intercepting hostile aircraft. The game uses standard SNES controls, which are mapped to your keyboard in the browser: use the D-pad (arrow keys) to steer your jet, the A/B/X/Y buttons (Z/X/A/S keys) to fire weapons and cycle through your arsenal, and Start (Enter) to pause or check the map.
Tips
Keep a close eye on your fuel and ammunition counters, as running out mid-mission is a common reason for failure. When navigating to far-off targets, fly at higher altitudes to conserve fuel, then descend when you need to engage the enemy or begin your bombing run.
