Paperboy is Atari Games’ classic 1984 action game where players ride a bicycle down a hazard-filled suburban street to deliver daily newspapers. As a neighborhood delivery driver, your goal is to throw newspapers onto subscribers’ doorsteps and into mailboxes while dodging cars, barking dogs, runaway lawnmowers, and trick ramps across a full week of deliveries.
How to Play
Steer your bicycle along the sidewalk and street while managing your speed and throw timing. Your objective is to deliver papers to all highlighted subscriber houses each day (Monday through Sunday) without crashing. Accurate deliveries keep subscribers signed up, while missed papers or broken windows cause them to cancel. Throwing papers at non-subscriber houses or breaking their windows scores extra points but doesn’t add subscribers. Complete each day’s route to reach the bonus obstacle course for extra points and refills.

Tips
- Target mailboxes: Hitting a subscriber’s mailbox scores bonus points and guarantees they stay subscribed for the next day.
- Restock your bundle: Pick up newspaper bundles scattered along the sidewalk to ensure you don’t run out mid-route.
- Protect your subscriber count: If you lose all subscribers through crashes or missed deliveries, your delivery run ends immediately.
